Informix Monitoring: Lockfile

To prevent multiple versions of the data capture a lock file is created at the start of the capture, and removed on completion. If the Informix instance is hung then the data capture will not complete and a CRITICAL error is raised.

If the instance is not hung and no data capture processes are running the file can be manually removed. The file name can be found in the cfg files [ONI_LOCKFILE]
