The value of INFORMIXSERVER is too long for a database server name. The maximum length for database server names depends on the database server. In IBM Informix Dynamic Server 9.2 or later, the maximum length is 128 characters. In other Informix database servers, the maximum length is 18 characters.
Set the INFORMIXSERVER environment variable to a database server name that does not exceed the maximum length and try again.
